RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At MARVION LTD, every piece we create is crafted with exceptional care, precision, and respect for traditional European craftsmanship. Because our furniture and joinery are made to order — often fully bespoke — our returns and refund terms reflect the unique, handcrafted nature of our work.

This policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, and applicable UK trading standards.

1. Bespoke & Made‑to‑Order Items

Most MARVION products are custom‑made, hand‑finished, or produced to client specification. For this reason:

❗ Bespoke and made‑to‑order items are not eligible for returns or refunds

unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

This includes:

  • Custom dimensions

  • Special finishes

  • Unique materials

  • Client‑approved drawings or designs

  • Handcrafted reproductions and luxury joinery

Once production has begun, cancellations cannot be accepted.

2. Standard (Non‑Custom) Items

If you purchase a non‑custom, non‑made‑to‑order item, you may return it within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused

  • It is in its original condition

  • It is returned in its original packaging

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

We take exceptional care in packaging and delivering our products. However, if your item arrives:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

  • Not as described

you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs of the damage or defect

  • Your order reference

We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the issue.

4. Cancellations

Bespoke / Made‑to‑Order Items

Once production has started, cancellations cannot be accepted.

Standard Items

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. If the item has already shipped, the standard returns process applies.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within:

  • 14 days for standard returns

  • 14 days for faulty or damaged items (after inspection)

Refunds will not include:

  • Delivery charges (unless the item was faulty)

  • Additional services such as installation, assembly, or custom finishes

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for bespoke or made‑to‑order items. For standard items, exchanges may be possible depending on stock availability.

7. Packaging & Return Condition

Returned items must be:

  • Carefully repackaged

  • Protected to prevent transit damage

  • Returned in original or equivalent packaging

We reserve the right to refuse refunds for items damaged due to inadequate return packaging.

8. Collection & Delivery for Returns

For large furniture items, we may arrange collection through our logistics partners. Collection fees may apply unless the item is faulty.
